Role Summary

Tsymmetry is seeking a Systems Administrator I to provide mobile phone support within the Office of the Executive Director, Technology Division, Bureau of International Security and Nonproliferation at the Department of State. This position requires  IT logistical support, processing, mobile devices, and IT inventory.

What you will be doing

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide phone support and direct user assistance for use of mobile devices and software, including Apple and Samsung.
  • Interact with end user to identify and resolve a variety of issues related to mobile phones.
  • Perform administrative tasks, mobile inventory control activities.
  • Manage consumables inventory.
  • Communicate technical information in a non-technical manner.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot mobile issues with hardware and software.

What we need from you

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with mobile phones both Apple and Samsung in either a commercial or government environment.
  • Knowledge of mobile operating systems, applications, and hardware.
  • Familiarity with trouble ticket system, such as ServiceNow, Remedy, or similar tool.
  • Must have outstanding customer service and communication skills and be able to interact professionally within all levels of an organization.
  • Must be able to work onsite at customer location in Washington DC full time with possibility for one day remote work after probationary period.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting.
