Tsymmetry is seeking an experienced Azure Administrator to support a mixed infrastructure environment transitioning fully to an Azure Cloud environment. In addition to strong Azure skills, the candidate must be able to support legacy systems such as Windows-based 2019 OS servers and Cisco Switching technology.
Azure admin user account administration
Azure PaaS project operation and administration
Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) administration and troubleshooting
Performing patching and password reset
Azure DevOps operation and administration - Pipeline Ci/CD projects for software development environment
Create and administer AD group policy on vulnerability, compliance, and backups for a classified environment
10+ years' overall industry experience
4+ years' experience working with Microsoft Azure administration.
Active Secret Security Clearance
An Azure Administrator certification is desired but not required to start.
A Bachelor's degree or applicable direct work experience may be an acceptable substitute.
Experience writing PowerShell code and creating Azure templates for CI/CD deployments in Azure.
Experience managing Azure Entra ID
Manage and secure backups in Microsoft Azure
Experience with setup and configuring IaaS VMs and PaaS services in Azure.
Experience with RBAC and Policy in Azure
Manage Defender for Cloud, Azure Monitor, and Azure Update Management
Build domain controllers and application servers in an Azure Development subscription, configure DNS and DHCP, and apply Enterprise-compliant security configuration to systems
SQL Database and storage account experience a plus
Understand Cisco IOS and able to manage/configure Cisco switches.
Review and deploy required updates using SCCM, WSUS
Create, track, and resolve tickets using ticketing systems.
Strong analytical, problem solving and planning skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Flexible team player, delivery-oriented
Attention to details is important
Enthusiastic, can-do attitude with the drive to continually learn and improve.
Must be able to perform at a high level with minimal supervision.
Willing and able to mentor fellow team members on Azure-related job duties.
Optional Responsibilities:
Experience deploying containers with Kubernetes in Azure
Experience with Machine Learning in Azure is highly desirable.
